The Perfect Danish Modern Sofa?

We have lots of customers coming through the store on a weekly basis looking for "that perfect sofa". Well, folks, here it is!

At 6' long, it's the perfect size; not too big, not too small. It's very comfortable, with clean, simple lines, and very nice teak accents on the arms and front, not to mention the stylish tapered teak legs.

Unfortunately, there's only one of them, so it's first come first serve on this bad boy! And, as ever, we have options for you! Let's just say that Janus Home is NOT like the early Ford Motor Company, where you could have "any color as long as it's black". No, we want your perfect sofa to be YOUR perfect sofa - so, with that in mind, consider these possibilities:

1) - Mostly as is. The original fabric on this sofa is actually not so bad, and although it would definitely benefit from a professional cleaning, it's actually in pretty good shape, and is a nice quality wool. The cushions are currently stuffed with a very low quality, low density foam that we would recommend replacing, which would also serve to give the cushions a fuller look and a firmer sit.

2) - Reupholster! While the fabric is in good shape, it may not be to everyone's taste, and the sofa would really look smashing brought into the 21st century with a modernized fabric. With this option you can choose from our large selection of designer upholstery fabrics, or in the unlikely event that we don't have exactly what you're looking for, you can bring in your own fabric.

3) -The full meal deal - reupholster AND refinish! While the exposed teak arms and trim are in pretty good condition and have a nice patina, they do show some scratches and dings. If you were going to get the sofa reupholstered, we would probably recommend refinishing the wood as well. The catch is, we can't refinish the wood without reupholstering the sofa, because it would be virtually impossible to refinish the wood without damaging the existing upholstery in some way.

So, you may be asking yourself, how much is this perfect Danish sofa? Here's the breakdown.

Option 1: $1550. This option includes having the existing upholstery professionally cleaned and having the cushions re-stuffed with higher quality foam.
Option 2: $2250 PLUS fabric. This option includes having the cushions re-stuffed, as above, and having the sofa reupholstered in fabric of your choice. As an extra incentive to buy fabric from us, we will offer a 30% discount on any of our in-stock fabrics to anyone who chooses this option (this does NOT include DesignTex fabrics).
Option 3: $2350 PLUS fabric. Same as #2 above, except includes refinishing of the teak arms, trim & legs.
